Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak

Ref: NCoronavirus 0320 Update 1 Date 27th March 2020

To all our valued customers

Further to the recent guidance regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

This situation is developing extremely quickly and we are monitoring the situation as best we can. Government guidance at this time is that we should avoid contracting and spreading the virus wherever possible.

The safety and well being of our customers and colleagues is our number one priority at this time and as such we have taken the very difficult decision to close our office and furlough all of our employees.

We will, however, do our very best to maintain the best possible service to our customers throughout this difficult time and our directors will call in regularly to check messages.

We very much hope that if everyone follows the government guidance then we can come through these difficult times and get back to normal as soon as possible.

In the meantime if you need us then please call us on 01254 822691.

If we can help – we will.

Stay safe

To all our valued customers

Further to the recent guidance regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

This situation is developing extremely quickly and we are monitoring the situation as best we can.

The safety and well being of our customers and colleagues is our number one priority at this time. We will however continue, for the time being at least, to work and serve our customers as best we can until further guidance is given that further changes the current situation.

Government guidance at this time is that we should avoid contracting and spreading the virus wherever possible.

Our employees have been informed that they must not come to work if they have a new continuous cough or a high temperature. They will stay at home and self isolate for seven days from when symptoms first started as per the latest government and NHS guidelines.

We further recommend that there are no handshakes or physical contact with clients on arrival or during calls to site. Engineers and clients should ideally maintain a suitable distance (preferably different rooms) throughout the call. Customers should sign worksheets with their own pen or can sign off jobs verbally during this time. Engineers will use the comments section to record this if necessary.

To help avoid contracting or spreading the virus all engineers must wash their hands and / or sanitise with anti bacterial gel before and after every call to every property (including the office). Where practical engineers should wear single use protective gloves and these should be disposed of after each call.

All customers will need to be asked if they are currently self isolating or displaying any symptoms. Please do not be offended by this. If there is any risk of contracting or spreading the virus then we must request that the appointment be rebooked. If it’s an urgent call then it will be up to the engineer in question to make their own judgement on whether or not to do the job and what if any precautions can be taken.

Please be assured that we will do our very best to maintain a high level of customer service for our valued clients whilst also adhering to the latest safety advice from the government, national health service and the relevant trade associations of which we are members.
